Deck, Stairs, Railings, Siding — A Full Property Reset in Avon Lake
This job started where every good one does: a walk-around evaluation of the property before a single drop of cleaner touched a surface. That’s how you spot the buildup most homeowners (and most pressure washers) miss — the algae creeping into the railing posts, the mildew settling into the stair treads, the spots that look fine from twenty feet away and rough from two. From there, we ran a full deck wash — floor, stairs, and railings. Most deck cleanings stop at the floor, but the railings and stair components are exactly where moisture gets trapped and rot starts. Cleaning the whole structure isn’t just a cosmetic win; it’s how you actually extend the life of the deck. Algae, mold, and debris all came off cleanly, and the natural color of the wood returned with them. Then we moved to the home’s exterior with a soft-wash pass — gentle enough to protect the siding, thorough enough to lift away the algae and mildew that quietly age a property year over year. Soft-washing kills organic growth at the root, which means the surface stays cleaner longer and the materials hold up against the weather as they were designed to.
